  1. Stuff that you earned before high school doesn't really count. It's kind of early to be thinking about college right now but in general, just maintain good grades in high school, get good test scores and be involved in activities that you are passionate about. There really is no set path to gaining admissions to Yale; acceptance is such a ridiculously long shot that perfect SAT scorers and people with 4.0 gpas get rejected all the time.

  2. Prepare yourself for lots of hard work! My brother goes there and he's one of the smartest people I know. If getting into Yale is really your goal, then you need to make sure you have a great GPA throughout highschool, excellent SAT scores, and all kinds of extracurricular activities.. all of that is important, but they are not the only factors of getting accepted. Yale turns down excellent academic records all the time, because basically everyone who applies has a great academic record. What they're looking for is what kind of person you are, and what you will contribute to the university. And what kind of experiencese you have had in your life. You will be required to write an admissions essay, and that is where you can truly show youself..

Well good luck! if you stick with your goal I am sure you will achieve it!

  3. Well you've got the desire.  Good job there. As far as preparing for those schools, you should start by working on your writing, it looks like.  All colleges really care about are ACT/SAT scores, GPA, and what makes you unique (extracurriculars, awards, etc.).
