I don't want to sound like every other girl wanting to be on Disney Channel. I don't want to be on Disney Channel, I just want to be in a movie or something.I have a lot of experience (10 musicals with a theater group, school plays, theater summer camp, etc.) I live in Illinois, which might be a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. Move to New York City or LA, get an agent who will get you started on a small part in a few t.v. shows just to guest star, then it will be easier to get into movies with a little film experience, not many unknowns can just walk in and get a part in a movie which im sure you know but audition for everything till you find what your looking for. Also i've been auditioning for stuff for many years and dont have much of a resume so, try stage acting if the movie business doesnt work

  2. maybe when a movie audition is in need you can go and audition.

    Good luck!!!

  3. Depends on your age. I am a Musical Theatre major so if you want to talk i can help when it comes to school. Performing is a huge amount of work and a major commitment. You have to be ready to be rejected over and over and you must have the ability to take that rejection and use it to push yourself to be a better performer and really work at your craft.
