I really want to get into this prep school?

The acceptance rate is 38%, and it's really prestigious. My GPA last year was 2.7, which is REALLY sad for me. I was depressed and unmotavated, but i know i'm absolutly capable of a 4.0. The applications are due in January, and you need to turn in the grades from last year. is there anything i can do to proove that i've changed, so that I can get accepted and get out of this little town?

Well, not much, esp. if their rate is 38%.

Do you do much extracurriculars?

Maybe next year.

Not grade wise but you should start volunteering to show them that you care about your community and social aspects not just academic.
