I really want to go for interview, but im scared coz i dont have job and properties to show to the US embassy.

Please help, My friend will sponsor me to go to US to visit him, do u think my friends present job can add some points to grant me a visa even i dont have properties will show to the embassy? He is workin in US Air Force....

  1. Stan is correct.  The visa is for you, not your friend, and "sponsorship" is rarely helpful.  You yourself, alone, must be able to convince the consular officer that you have a good reason to travel to the US, and a very good reason to go home again.


  2. Since they will not be interviewing your "friend", be prepared to satisfy them that you will be returning to your home country.  If you cannot do this, your visa will probably be denied.

    You do not have to be employed or have lots of money to get a visa, but you do have to show that your intent is NOT to stay in the United States.

  3. why are you scared ? if he is sponsoring you and has done all the documents for visa acceptation ?

    then you should be ok .

    stop worrying and just go to the interview ,otherwise you will never know whether you may go or not .

  5. Request your friend that he will sponsor your visit to the US so that you need not present any job record to the US embassy in applying for a visa.
