idk how to tell my mom and i really dont think shed let me like take lessons i can sing and act just dont know how to tell her

Just tell ur mom u need her support to make ur career go smoothly. Dont just say u wanna be a Disney channel star there are other things. Dont get me wrong Disney is awesome but u dont want to be some 35 year old c lister talking about what u did on Disney channel. Try looking for other things.

i want to be one too. i know thats really dorky but i dont care hahaha well i told my parents that i wanted to sing and we sat down and talked about it. when they really saw that i wanted to sing, i got lessons and i am doing really well right now. same went for acting. your mom will be proud of you if you try, and you need to get others' honest opinions. it really helps!!

I'm in the same predicament you are.

You just need to tell her "Mom, I want to be an actress" it's a serious choice. It's not as simple as going to an audition and the person saying "You have talent, I pick you."

Don't take acting classes if your family's on a low budget.

Get into your local theater and let your mom realize how dedicated and talented you are. Dance classes are always a plus, too.

But I wouldn't recommend it. Those stars end up having people up them the entire time. If you want to lead an almost average life I would suggest being in Nickelodeon.

Whens the last time you saw "Anti- Miranda Crosgrove" in somebodies name? I don't think I could handle the hate being in Disney, but if you do than have at it.
