I really want to go to the first dance but....?

Question

I am going to Florida that day. I was disapointed but then I forgot about it. Then my dad told me MAYBE(huge maybe) I could go to the dance and me and my dad could drive up the next day to meet the rest of my family. I really want to be good for the next two weeks and have no attitude. I want to be helpful also. How can I do this? I am in desperate need of help! Thanks so much and I owe this site once again.

P.S. My dad said for us to drive it would cost 500$ in gas so how do I make up for that? I am 12 so no real jobs but thanks!!

do alot of extra chores around the house to make up for it and say thank u alot and how much it meant for u to go to ur first dance
