  1. I have heard this also -you can eat other stuff it just takes creativity when vegan. Also you could use rice milk not soy or they make hazelnut milk, oat milk. Just limit the intake of soy. Eat beans and rice -that is a complete protein, soy seems to be in so many meat alternative convience products.

  2. Yes soy does increase estrogen levels but in a healthy way. It should not harm you as long as you are not on H.R.T. as I'm sure you aren't.

  3. If I were you, I would be more worried about the levels you have from the chemicals, hormones, and antibiotics that you are getting from meat.

  4. p-b-b-b-b-b... come on!  Use your head people.  These are PLANT hormones!  What about that country... what is is called... China or other country... Japan... or all those other Asian countries that have been using soybeans for food for... who knows how long... Like I said... use your head.

Just read this, this use your thinking processes:

  5. Considering there are artificial hormones in animal products that have a greater effect on you than soy, you'd be better off with the soy.  But if you are worried, you can use rice milk, nut milk, or any other plant milk mixed with or instead of soy milk.

  6. I've heard that soy is horrible for the human body. I've also heard that soy is extremely healthful for humans. There are many conflicting opinions out there, and ultimately you have to make the decision yourself.

I have been eating soy products on a daily basis for the past 6 - 8 months, and I honestly have not noticed any negative effects. Keep in mind that both estrogen and testosterone are present in both males and females... I really doubt that eating a bit of soy each day will dramatically affect hormone levels.

You should research this a bit on your own and reach your own conclusion. :)
