  1. No, you won't be able to fly in the military.

However, you might still be able to join the Air Force.

  2. no, i wanted to do that but they said i'm too fat

  3. you can still join the air force, but the jobs will be limited...do more research first, look into the army, i think its better. the air force only gives you a 25% chance of getting the job you want anyways, army gives you a 100% chance of getting the job you want as long as your are capable.  you won't be able to be a pilot in either branch, however there are other jobs you can be related to planes or helicopters. for example i always wanted to be a helicopter pilot, however, i dont pass the physical tests recquired to be one, i always was set on the air force too, until i found out i only have a 25% chance of getting the job i want, i am now joining the army to be a medic, which means i get to jump out of helicopters and fly in them, however i don't get to drive them, look into the army, they have a larger variety of jobs and i'm sure you can find something you would like related too flying ! i went in and told them i always wanted to be a pilot or a nurse, well, they kinda combined the job for me :)

  4. Sorry.  No way can you be a military pilot with one eye.  Private pilot yes, I know a few guys who have a private license and have one eye.

  5. You can if you get surgery to correct it, but thats not the real question here. The real question is can you pass the incredibly difficult training.

  6. Not a pilot, sorry, hon. Don't let that stand in your way of serving tho!!

And wow, I learned something else amazing today, that surgery can correct a glass eye, according to one of the answers.

  7. sorry buddy.. but you need at least 20/20 vision in each eye to fly a plane in the airforce. i am in the same boat....minus the glass eye.. but i wanted to fly real bad.. and found out you neededvision in each eye at the very least.. sorry for that unfortunate news
