  1. what you can use is some proative if you can't get that use some clean and clear it's cheap, and you can find it at the local food store in the beauty departmant , or wallmart

  2. rubbing alcohol drys them up really quickly and most of your acne should be gone by friday if you apply it regularly (like when you wake up & beofre you go to sleep)

  3. i have acne too. what seems to work really good is clearisil ultra and a bottle of clean and clear sylisylic acid its jus liquid you put it on with a cotton ball. you could also go to your doctor, i have an she gave me perscription creams for it. im clearin up

  4. First, wash your face twice a day. Morning and night.

Second, use a toothpaste at home on your really bad spots of acne.  Not the gel like toothpaste but the kind that drys easy.

Third, borrow or buy a cheap small tube of acne creme, that is if the toothpaste isn't working out.

Also, something I recommend for blackheads on the nose region is Biore strips.

If you are able to buy stuff I recommend the previous two parts of my answer. Just look for deals and try anything.

    Good Luck!

Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!

Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?

However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.

However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.

If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role in your breakouts.

If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.

The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?

Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.

Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.

They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):

    Night time:

    1. Exfoliate the skin

    2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

    4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

    5. Moisturizer

    Morning:

    1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

    Good Luck to you,

  6. i used proactive and it was okay (not that great but changed my skin a bit), if u go to google and type at home skin treatments of somthing u can find some good ones, and go swimming!not only will u have fun an burn calories, but the pool water dries up your skin so it actually gets rid of acne (but use a moisturizer after) also u can use oundation to cover some, and eat healthy, drink lots of water and dont eat pizza! (it may be tasty but it gives u alot of acne!i ate pizza one day and the next day i have 3 pimples!) if u have blackheads biore blackhead strips are pretty good. hope i helped!byeee<3

  7. I've dealt with acne for over 8 years, and what has helped me the best:

    1. Water. Lots and lots of water. Make sure you're peeing clear, and drink about a liter before bed. Yes you will have to get up to pee but it's worth it.

    2. I found that I was breaking out most on the side of my face that I was sleeping on, so I bought paper pillow cases from an on-line medical distribution site. Short-term solution is to make sure you're using clean pillow cases and that you aren't allergic to the laundry detergent. Find something fragrance and dye free just in case.

    3. Don't over wash your face. Period. My favorite face product so far is Arbonne's Clear Advantage. This is a long-term solution because it takes about two months of using ALL THREE items in the kit to see results. And I've used almost everything on the market.

Another long-term solution to look into is Accutane. Some insurance policies cover it, but think about this one carefully and read up on it first, there can be serious side-effects.

But again, water and not drying out your face are going to be the two most important for a "quick fix". If you want to use one of those quick-acting spot treatments too I'm sure that'd help.

These are the things that have helped me! I wish you luck for your first day of school.

  8. take a spoon of milk and add a few drops of lemon juice. apply it to your face three times a day and let it stay on your face till it drys up, then rinse with cold water. that'll help a lot

  9. well makeup is not the option theres two choices 1) keep the way ur face is i bet its beautiful 2) proactive mite help if your young but put a little dot of it and if your older take some of it in your hand tap it on your face if you rub it in  it can feel all soggyso dont rub it in  try proactive it  works 4 me im going to school lookin me!!

  10. Uhmm....you kinda waited too late to do something now...but you can try AcneFree..it works good and fast for me.

  11. Noxzema and sea breeze

you can use the clean and clear kit

if you had enough money i would recommend so polished by estee lauder or micro delivery by philosophy.

  12. you can wash you face every mornin an night with water an soap or Ive heard procside (sp) works good because it drys the skin!

  13. maybe try proactive ,clearasil,or clean and clear try those and see it they help there is also zeno but that is a little more expensive but has a better chance or working you can find most of these products at  like a wal mart

  14. deff the dermatologist, or proactive.

anything that will dry out your face will help because there will be less oils.

but of course you wanna put a moisturizer after.

    HOPE I HELPED :)

  15. there's a number of things...

apply rubbing alcohol on trouble spots.

and for those big red ones ice them till the redness and swelling does down and put some toothpaste on them over night it'll dry em out.

they should lessen drastically. it ALWAYS works for me

    and good luck in school.=]
