  1. nervous wont make it to the nba. unless youre lebron james and born with god given talent

  2. I know its your dream but have a back-up just in case.

  3. I do too but I know it will never happen

  4. go for it

and don't worry about s******g up everyone does at some point

    I have the same dream

  5. Just do it.

  6. Work as hard as u can. I am working my butt off to be eligible 4 the London Olympics, 4 tennis. Work as hard, and never stop believing.

    Good Luck, hun!

  7. everybody wants to go to NBA, its just playing hard being humble and believing your self

  8. well you have the same exact problem as me: self confidence. That is the key to playing succesful basketball. if ur confident, you wont mess up. i know you have a lot of skill and talent but lack of self confidence can totally make all your talent disappear. if you want to make the NBA, playing basketball shouldnt have to be a task or something that you have to do. it should be something that you WANT to do. EVERYDAY. never skip a day of playing. on average practice 3-4 hours everyday. practice maybe 1 hour by yourself and the rest with other people. about the confidence problem, this is my biggest problem in life and im still trying to fix it but maybe you have a better chance at fixing it: self confidence. when you step on the court, i dont care how good or bad you are, your mentality should be "i dont give a ****" i dont give a **** if this guy is taller than me, ill out rebound him.

I dont care if this guy blocked me, i steal the ball back, ill hustle, ill try hard. thats all.

If playing basketball isnt a habit, make it a habit. it takes 3 weeks to make a habit so if u play everyday for three weeks for at least 4 hours it will become a habit. it takes 1 week to break a habit.

if basketball isnt a habit, then you probably wont make it to the nba.

every kid wants to make it to the nba and that dream is hardly ever realized. it takes a lot of work to beat the millions of kids playin in this country. you just gotta put more time than others to beat them.

  9. Never stop believing

Never stop practicing. When you are confident in your moves you won't get nervous breaking someones ankles.
