just stop at one of the check points as you enter the city.you'll see the cops with machine guns around their necks fighting with the owners of the cars that they are ripping apart. we were there in may and couldn't believe what we were seeing.

Well there is no on going wrestling show if that's what your thinking.  Its more like a concert and will depend who (if anyone) is on "tour" in PV on those dates.  

The best thing to do is check around right when you get there.  They usually put poster or notices on telephone poles and stuff like that.  Also check the local paper or ask a local about "Lucha Libre"
