  1. Well, this might get them mad (I don't know them lol) but remind them that you have your own life to live. Why should they stop you from reaching for the stars?

And why would you want to be on disney channel? Everything sucks there nowadays.

  2. I'm sorry to say this, but if you only want to be on Disney Channel, there's no use in trying. It takes years of experience, and you'll only have enough by the time you're an adult, by which time you'll be too old for Disney, and you already said you don't want to pursue it as an adult. If you really do love acting and don't just want to be a Disney star, do school plays and community theatre and stuff. That gives you the whole acting experience without all the work it takes to make it big time.

  3. I totally get you im 14 just starting i really wanna be on disney channel too! lol And i dont have a stage mom but i have a stage dad see that, but i dont live with my dad so it gets challenging trying to have my mom drive to l.a when my dad already lives out there! And i totally get the whole you wanna act now while your young because thats how i feel well at least i wanna start now! lol okay advice.. With you and your dad is like me with my mom and you can't tell them you must SHOW them and by that he has to know your serious about this, look for local EVERYTHING, acting classes, dance classes, join drama club next year and you have to have him go to your plays have your acting coaches or teachers persuade him into letting you do commercials i mean it gonna take time lol like its taking with my mom but i know once i get something or commercial anything she'll totally budge and thats what your dad will do once you get anything professional he'll budge lol but you gotta get him to loosen up a little on the way so he can get you to auditions you need money for headshots(200-700$) Ugh i payed 500$ lol, Gas($$) and any other little fee along the way you know what i'm saying? You really have to make sure your serious about this because it really is so much work especially for disney and if you dont work that extra 110% you wont get there because competion is firce especially when your up agisnt kids who've been doin this since they've been like 2 you know lol but we'll get there!

0h this is loong but i hoped it all helped and hope to see you on the bigscreen one day! lol

  4. Is this a career that you seriously want to pursue as an adult? If it is, try reminding your parents that it would be useful to start on your chosen career path as soon as possible, and that might as well be now since you're going to continue in this line of work in the future anyway. If not, the only work you could really be useful for is being an extra, since in a couple years you won't be interested anyway.

  5. Well first of all, Since your starters . You cant begin without having the support of your family ( it sucks ) . Talk to you dad, be like " Dad, I want to do this. I won't give up like i didn't give up on this. Please give me one chance to prove your wrong." If he gives you the chance. Take a class maybe in school (if you cant, maybe you'll get lucky getting into an agency without much experience on your resume) So make your resume, take a GOOD headshot of yourself. The headshot tells everything about the person like they said "a picture is a thousand words" dont wear too much make up its gotta show the real you. when your done with that. Send your headshot, resume and COVERletter to the agency. Remember watch out there are unlegit agents out there! Ask your dad for help on that one. Anyways yeah .. Good luck ! I'm starting out too .. I'm currently with an "BACKGROUND AGENCY" Its where they only do the extras its pretty good coz you learn bit by bit. Now I'm getting ready to sign a contract with a PRINCPLE AGENCY ! :) anyways good luck <3
