My husband and I are in the process of foreclosing our home, and to try and save some money, we decided to eliminate our satellite bill. We live in Nevada, about 60 miles away from Reno and were quite fond of the local ABC and NBC channels. I do get free wifi and manage to watch full episodes on line, but cannot get local channels. Because there are two mountain ranges in between my house and Reno, no one out here can get local channels with antennas, only satellite or cable. Does anyone have any suggestions? We will be evicted in November, and I was really hoping to watch NBC before then. :)

  1. The best idea would be to get a job and quit being a leech on society.  Do something productive, pay your bills, and sell that computer to do it if you have to.  Don't be another welfare case that is causing the economic crisis.  Don't buy more than you can afford, live without t.v. if you're just trying to bum it off someone, and help our country rid itself of scum like yourself.  Be a good American!

  2. That all depends on whether your local channels have an internet stream. You can try JLC's internet TV viewer (jlc-software.com[no www]).

Also try searching for the local TV stations web sites and see if you can watch using your web browser.

Of course there is always NBC.com
