  1. Neat, I work at AMC Forsyth 12, Georgia.

The things my managers look for is open avalibility. The better and more open it is, the more likely you are to get the job. They my also check past jobs for reference. Also, on avalibility, be open for holidays and weekend, this is a must to work for AMC.

One thing about the online application, DO NOT LIE. My managers told me after I was hired, is the test is desgined to fail those who try and give "book-line" answers. You must complete, and pass, this to get the one on one interview. Here is where they give you questions about how you helped others, etc., and you reply with only expierences.

ex: "Tell us a time when you went out of your way to help another" or "Name a time when you where rudely confronted, and what you did."

Its a fun job, and you will move up in the company fast. The free movies, and pre-screening will keep you happy if nothing else.

    GOOD LUCK!

  2. Well...ll you can do is wait because unless they have already interviewed you you should still have a shot the thing is working at a movie place is popular among teens therefore many applications

just make sure your application stands out the most

  3. Haha, I got hired REAL quick for the job.

Only job I've ever been hired to since (long story).

Basically I called in and asked if anyone was looking over applications. They said they'd start after Memorial Day. The day after, they called me and left a message. The lady was really nice and set up an interview, I got to pick the date and everything.

    Interview was easy.

I got call that I got job three hours later. To start training following Monday.

I remember being scared because I saw some other people were being interviewed. Idk if they got hired or not. Probably, I thought my interview kinda sucked.

Oh and btw, I'm 16, never had a job.

Not sure if I just got lucky, if they were desperate, or because summer was starting...

  4. Yea, it could be that they are just not hiring right at the moment. Keep after it, and when you get called for an interview be as professional and courteous as possible. Try to maintain a professional image and such. You might try to find out how long an application is good, so you do not keep submitting multiple applications.
