I receive a book voucher of 600 dollars this semseter, does that come out of my financial aid award?

Im not quite sure how that works any thoughts?!

  1. Yes, a voucher usually is just an 'advance" of your student aid.  Sometimes it is issued if your info is not complete or if it is too early in the semester for you to get your aid.


  2. Yes, so let's say you got Pell which I am assuming you did. That 600 bucks comes out of your Pell. For example, if your pell was 2,000 they took out 600 for the book voucher which would leave you with 1400. You only get a book voucher if your school was completely paid for so if the 2000 was what you had left over from your financial aid, then it's 1400 now because 600 was taken out specifically for books.
