  1. It sure is. Just send them all your personal financial information and you'll be rich in no time. NOT! Just kidding. It's just another scam. I actually have a lot of fun with the Nigerian scams. I usually exchange at least 3 emails with them before they give up. I ask them for their personal financial information, promising to deliver their percentage when I get the money. Their responses are pretty funny. I also tell them that they 'were wise' to choose me as their partner in this endeavor. So go ahead and s***w with them. Just don't tell them anything.

  2. It is a scam.  But have fun with them if you want.  Check this site for ideas on how to fight back.  It is FUNNY!

  3. This sounds like a scam. There is no such thing as a "Yahoo Lottery."

Sadly, you'll find many phishers pose as lotteries or special contests in order to get you to give them your personal information and/or money. Remember that legitimate lotteries will never ask for your information via email, will never require payment to receive awards, and will require active participation on your part (you'll never have a legitimate lottery contact you about a "surprise" lottery that you happened to win without your prior entry).

I would advise you not to respond in any way to this message. Instead, I would contact Yahoo's security team as they would likely be interested in stopping such fraudulent emails from being sent. Look in Yahoo's help pages for more information on their anti-fraud policies.

    I hope this helps!

  4. SCAM, same as the UK lottery that everyone else wins.
