I received a letter from the IRS on my amended tax return. It says that "The adjustment we made was different?

because your figures in column A lines 1,5, and 10 did not accurately what on your account.

What does this mean?

It means that what you showed on the 1040X on those lines didn't match your original return, so they fixed the amended form so it matches.

It means exactly what it states, you entered wrong figures in these lines and IRS made the corrections.  Meaning if you had a refund due to you it maybe less than you figured; or could be more than you figured.
