It says to send $5.00 to the first person on the list (there are four names), and then remove that name, make copies with your name in the fourth position and the rest move up. My question is....Have any of you participated in something like this and how did it work out for you?

  1. It is a chain letter and it is illegal.

  2. It's called a pyramid scheme, it's a scam, and the only one who wins is the person who thinks of it first.

  3. This kind of thing is probably illegal.  I suggest that you phone the police and ask them about it.

  4. It's a chain letter and it's illegal. Also, it doesn't work. The top person on the list (the one who started it) may do OK. But you'll just lose your money.

  5. 1) It is a scam. it is called a Pyramid Scheme. They ALWAYS turn out badly

    2) If it came through the US Mail, it IS illegal.  You should take this letter to the Post Office, and give it to the Postmaster.
