  1. No.  This is a SCAM. If you click on the below link this site confirms various email scams hitting the internet and provides an online form for the reporting of such, with links for your own country.

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace.

  2. Did you buy a British lottery ticket?  If not, don't believe it.  If the email says you need to send money in order to get your prize it's a scam.  No real contest will require you to pay for something you have won.

  3. I definitely think it's a SCAM. I received the same one from a British lottery ticket. I ignored it, for the obvious reason...I didn't enter the British lottery. I'd just delete it right away

  4. I get those all the time.  delete it immediately!  Trust me, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.  That kind of email is what is known as a phishing scam. They either want you to send money to get your money and guess what?  Your money never arrives.  Or they are trying to get your personal information such as social security number, date of birth, etc. so they can steal your identity.

  5. You can believe it all you like, but it isn't true.

The ONLY way to win the UK Lottery is to pay to play.

  6. SCAM! sorry
