  1. It is a scam! I doubt you purchased a ticket. Don't believe it!

  2. Definitely a scam! I get them almost on a daily basis and I've never entered the British Lottery. They're trying to get your banking information etc. to rip you off.

Another one is where they contact you from Nigeria, or one of those countries and tell you that their relative has died and left a huge inheritance for them but they can't access the money (???Why, I don't know) And they want you to send all your banking info. so they can send you a cheque. It's all a scam.

You might want to check your computer for a virus also. If you're receiving those kind of things all the time, you might have a virus on your computer. I would do a complete scan with a virus check.

  3. I get that garbage all the time, I bet they ask you to supply details like fone numbers etc ,trash . its a scam

  4. I believe it's a scam as well, and if you do an internet search with some of the names/terms in the email, you will probably find versions of your "notice" posted all over the internet.

  5. er did u enter the lottery in the first place, if not then its a scam DUUH!!

  6. Sorry friend but there is no Microsoft, Yahoo or other e-mail lottery, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. The following sites give more information

    http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeri...

    http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/showt...

    http://www.hoax-slayer.com/email-lottery...

.Also If you go to the following site you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful

  7. Rule of thumb:  If you have to pay for a winning of any kind, you didn't win anything.  All these lottery winning things we all receive via e-mail from different countries are all a hoax.  When I do get something that even remotely looks like it could be legit, I go to yahoo or google and they tell all.
