  1. Yes, technically you can go to court and set up a time to tell why. And if the court sets a time and the cop does not show then I think you win automatically.

    Good Luck.

  2. Sounds like the ticket was for someone else.

    Consult legal council!

  3. Yes 3 mistakes on one ticket for sure.

  4. if the ticket says your name on it then it is your ticket... but the officer must have been a dumbass for writing a wrong description of the car

  5. Should be interesting to see him testify how he pulled you over in one car, but described a different one on the ticket.  And if his testimony is that flaky, how good is the rest of it?

Yes, you can get off, but not on simple technicality.  You're going to have to fight it.  Which means you'll need some knowledge of courtroom procedure.  They have to prove you guilty, but it's up to you to force them to PROVE it.

  6. Does the ticket have YOUR name/address/license number/plate number/VIN# or anything else that makes it yours???

    If so...pay the fine

  7. Well, if he has your license plate and driver's license numbers, not to mention your vehicle registration.  Then you still have to pay the ticket.

  8. maybe, get a lawyer.

  9. In the old days (1950's) you could get off with these mistakes.  Not any more.  The question from the judge will be "Was it you. If not, who was driving your car that day because you handed the officer your drivers license".

  10. Hope the Judge is in a good mood, other then that, its still your license that will get the points.
