I received an ACH deposit for 0.00 CREDIT SUPP SEC US TREAS 310 what does this means?

This message seems to be a prenotification, such accounts are sent to the accounts, to check the validity of such accounts. If a transaction is sent to an invalid account, the same transaction shall be returned to the US treasury. When the transaction is posted successfully, US treasury  will be confident to send actual dollar transaction to it.

I received from my credit union a "ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (ETF) NOTICE" and the first paragraph reads, quote "On 22-Jul-10, Credit Union 1 received notification from US TREAS 310 that an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Credit is scheduled to post in the future to your account." What does this mean?
