The body of the mail read as "Your bill is attached to the mail" and

the mail had a zip file attached with the name list.zip belonging to the type of application stream. The file contained a virus nestakyP@mm and could not be downloaded.I contacted paypal customer service several times but there was no response.I do not know the contents of the file. Can any of you suggest any remedial measures. If any of the paypal employees come accross this message. Please help me out.I even sent a forwarded message to spoof@paypal.com,in case the mail is forged one,but

nobody is responding.

  1. they don't always reply right away.  I have had it take up to a week when I forwarded something to their spoof e-mail address

  2. NEVER open msgs that you don't KNOW are legitimate! Spammers use that paypal scam all the time-you can verify/or not by going to their website, and checking with them before opening it. Make sure your spam filter is set on high, and set it up to NOT show HTML graphics-then, if you accidentally open it, the virus (or whatever) can't get to your comp.

  3. If you get any e-mail from PayPal or eBay that doesn't have your name and login name in the e-mail is a spoof.  I get those ALL the time and I really hate them because I have an account with BOTH, so it gets confusing if it's real or not.  Delete ANY e-mails pertaining to that when spotted.
