yes this is scam and it is just a waste of time that what i had done and dint got any thing except boring mails and that only. And if you Questioned them then there will be no reply from them too. So If you dont want to waste your time then dont join it...Enjoy life..peace..

I would be very wary of joining any group that sends you a direct solicitation.  The purpose of yahoogroups is to bring people with mutual interests into contact with each other, and to enable easy communication.  You should look through the list of groups available for joining, and select the ones that YOU want to join.
