  1. Its a scam. Yahoo doesn't give out money.

  2. I too received one such SMS. I responded with an intention to seek an explanation but instead of answering my question, some terms and conditions were sent to me through email. Perhaps Yahoo should investigate and clarify.

  3. I received the exact same sms as well from Yahoo Mail. I highly suspect it's a scam too. Yahoo should make an official statement and clarify this matter. I was also told to contact mailprize31@yahoo.com "for free claims and prize delivery details".

  4. Sounds like a scam.  Don't you think if Yahoo! sponsored a contest, you would know about it.  Yahoo does not have contests, as far as I know.  Contact them and ask.

  5. It's a confirmed SCAM. After the personal details R send 2 them, they will request a scanned copy of your ID, Driver's Licence & International Passport. Phoony~

  6. Definitely it's a scam! Don't bother to send email to the email address.

  7. I received the same sms that my mobile no. won $9500. Sent an email to mailprize31 and received couple of emails back bacically, asking me to give them my personal data like full name, email address, residence , age ,etc. Looks very authentic with lots of reference to yahoo sites and logos and pictures. But to me is a big scam about to take place. Don't fall for it. Informed Yahoo via email about it and waiting for reply from them.

  8. I receive the message today on my SMS the same message you receive. But it told me to send to mailprize29 instead. I believe you are also from singapore?? I send a email to the Yahoo email from my Yahoo account. Only Yahoo can help us verify.

I just receive another SMS saying my response has been received.

  9. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I juz got the sms few hours ago but i dun remember giving my hp no to yahoo. And there's no such thing as a mail grant.

  10. Argghh! i got scammed!
