it could lead to either a higher position or pay. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I love computers and art and was thinking on the line of web design, but was't sure it that was to advanced for someone with a GED. Any advise is very welcome. Thanks!

  1. Having a GED doesn't mean a person is stupid.  It just means their life took a different course and that course didn't include high school.  My brother has a GED and he went to college AND maintained a 4.0 GPA.  If computers and design is something you like and are interested in...go for it!  If you have a community college in your area, check with them as to what they have to offer and go from there.  Wanting to do something more and bettering yourself is never a bad idea.

  2. You have to start somewhere. Any college has a core curricula that must be taken first before a major is chosen. I suggest you start in Community college, see a counselor, get some advice and ask them to help you plan a degree program.

  3. Hello, I work at a college and alot of different people come in with education and some with non but GED. PLEASE do not sell your self short put it in your mind and go for it. do your research on the information about what it is you want to do. talk to advisor at the college of your chose. Pray about it and make it happen. Now days without a better education I think it ain;t happen now in the world. So good luck to you. please dont give up make it a dream for SUCCESS!
