I recently bought a blackberry pearl and I cant send or recieve pictures anymore ----???

i had a sony walkman w580i and i could send and recieve picures, but when i switched to the Pearl, all of my pictures were gone and i cant send or recieve pictures anymore. is there anyway i can fix this?

Actually you can only send pictures through E-mail with the Blackberry Pearl, i know since i have one. Anyways do you have an e-mail account on your phone? well if you do, then don't worry sending and receiving picture messages, but if you don't you can't do very much about it since the Pearl can't receive MMS messages, only SMS messages.

to recieve a picture you have to go into your pictures, go into the sub menu and select recieve pictures. hope this was helpfull x

With your Pearl do you have a BlackBerry data plan? In order to send picture messages with a BlackBerry you need to have a BlackBerry data plan. The exceptions to this rule are with AT&T you can use the MediaNet Plan (I believe) and with T-Mobile you can have them enable a feature called the BlackBerry Feature Enabler (as long as you have some sort of messaging plan).
