  1. How many miles are on it?

For starters, pay attention to your driving habits.  Keep it under 65 mpg and avoid jackrabbit starts.

In addition, also make sure to check your tire pressure twice a month, get your oil changed every 3,000 miles, take anything heavy out the trunk that you do not need and change your air filter every 12,000 miles.

  2. I don't believe a word you are saying. It must just sit idling 24 hours a day to use that much fuel, or you have a leak, or your driving 50 mph in 2nd gear.

  3. dude who gives you 31 miles per gallon who gives you a low priced car with a sporty kinda look  when you buy a bmw or mercedes the barely even give you 25 mpg and thats hwy

  4. When was it last serviced, try changing the plugs and filters, check ht leads for breaks, or take it to a garage and have a diagnostic check done first, that shoud pinpoint any problems.

  5. Buy a Chevy.

Thanks for the thumbs down. I just consider the source, you left-wing, commie, anti-car nutjobs.

  6. First, the important question, 4 or 6 cylinder.  Both versions are very capable of making 18-20 in the city unless you're treating every street light as a starting light on a drag strip.

Combined driving will achieve 25-30 mpg on either.  Don't jack-rabbit starts and drive lighter on your gas pedal.

    good luck

  7. We had owned 5 Toyotas from brand new incl 4 cylinder CAMRY LE Sedan, COROLLA LE Sedan. COROLLA STATION WAGON and we currently drive a 6 cylinder SIENNA XLE Minivan and 6 cylinder HIGHLANDER  AWD SUV.

Personally seeing your Yahoo question makes me wonder why the mpg on a 4 cylinder 2008 CAMRY LE Sedan might not meet your expectations and exactly why you did not tell others what range of mpg you are getting on your 2008 CAMRY LE? but surely it certainly must be better than what my wife's HIGHLANDER AWD with 36,000 miles averages like 16 mpg and my SIENNA XLE with 105,000 miles for some unexplained reason gets like 18 to 20 mpg between fillups.

Question: Have you ever taken your CAMRY LE on the highway for like out-of-town trips that exceed 200 miles?  Why I ask is my SIENNA XLE minivan on long road trips gets like 25 to 27 mpg despite the fact that I will be cruising 70 to 80 mph passing all the HYBRIDs!

    Hope the Above Info Helps!
