I recently dropped off a package on the counter of usps (the package was parcel post). It has been 2 weeks and tracking still says "Electronic Shipping Info Received." Could someone had taken the package off the desk of usps?

If you are seeing that message, you do not have any tracking. Most likely it is Delivery Confirmation.

Parcel Post can take 2-3 weeks to arrive but the average is 2-9 days.

The message you are seeing is unlikely to change until the package is delivered. That is what Delivery Confirmation is supposed to do.
