I recently got a new mp3 player, but it wont show up in the program

its an upgrade from my older one, and i have the same program, but when i plug this mp3 player in, the little mp3 icon doesn't show up in the side bar. It wont let me edit things through that program, but it will through my computer. can someone help me.

Have you tried checking for a new version of the program, or seeing if you need to download drivers for the mp3 player to make your computer recognize it?
