  1. use a heat protectant and a straightening serum, and then in small layers straighten your hair.

if you straighten your hair in smaller sections, it'll come out 'thinner' and less poofy. and then after you straightened your hair, put some anti-frizz serum, for the days with humidity.

  2. your hair and that girls hair you want it like have completely different hair types.

  3. wash your hair, use pantene root booster, then blowdry your hair upside down, apply some kind of defrizz serum, then straighten it, use pantene shine cream to make it shiny!

the problem is that they didnt thin your hair out, next time, ask them to thin it out because then it will look like hers

  4. Dude. Come on.

Buy some good anti-frizz serum, it looks like you need it. I had the same problem when i had long hair. Wavy, frizzy hair is a mess to deal with. A big tip, don't ever blow dry and straighten to style at the same time. especially for over an hour.

A good hair serum is Ion. There's different types, so choose the best one for your type of hair.

    Good luck.

  5. good luck.

  6. *warning, you will think I'm insane*

my hair is uber curly, and it looks like yours when I blowdry it. So I take a shower at night, towel dry my hair and ring it out, but it's still pretty damp before I get in bed. So I sleep with my hair wet, and it's curly/wavy when I wake up. Then I just flat iron and it's done! So I don't blowdry.

  7. Maybe its puffy because you are straightening too much hair at one time.In order to get the weightless look you have to straighten a little at a time.If you were doing that already then I would suggest getting a new flat iron or something.Good luck!

  8. you need to straighten your hair for longer

mine was like that until i was showed how to do it properly

instead of quickly going through your hair

take a small section and drag it down slowly

    hope this helps!

  9. Well, first of all....NEVER EVER EVER blow dry AND flat iron your hair! Jesus are you trying to fry off your hair??? My hair is poofy too though, (almost like a poodle on steroids) and I use Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk. You could also try an anti-frizz serum.

  10. you should get a better straightner! thats probably ur problem

Get a chi u can get one for 80 bucks

    this will help a lot

also use some friss ease spray or mousse so it wont be soo poofy.

with ur bangs, i would straighten them off to the side. but i think itll look really cute when its nice and straight!

pin up some of ur hair so u can straighten them in sections, its a lot easier that way.

    good luck~

  11. take a shower the night before, and then blowdry and straighten after your shower.  Then go to bed, and you might have to re-straighten in the morning, but no more poof!  I don't have bangs but my hair does the same thing as yours!

  12. either you need a new straightener, your stylist didnt do a good job layering, or your hair is just really thick

i would suggest getting ur hair permanently straightened

  13. Use a diffuser

    And Straighten it

  14. I use this stuff called Bio silk and it makes my hair really nice!

  15. hey! i think u need garnier fructeese shampoo. it sleeks your hair and does not make it poofy!

i have exactly the same bangs as u and had the same problem...and maybe you just need to buy a straightener?

    :D!

  16. firstly when you wash your hair dont towel dry it - this makes your hair even frizzier! then blow dry your hair on the lowest heat setting on your hairdryer - it might take longer but itz better for your hair and dosent make it frizzy either! then section your hair into 3 layer bottom middle and top, this will help straighten your hair. while straightening your hair take about 1-1 1/2 inch sections at a time and go from the root to the tip slowly and smoothly (also while doing this use a comb or a teasing comb if you have one - this will just help make your hair straighter which will make it less poofy!).

    hope this helped!

  17. hey my hair used to b like that

have a shower the nite b4 then straighten them in the morning

it makes a lot of difference ..=]

  18. Get some  smoothing cream and then straighten it. That should help with the poof. Maybe add some hairspray also.

  19. i don't know, i have black girl hair.
