Is being asked for a follow up a good thing? What other things could they ask me since I was already interviewed for about an hour? What things should I expect on my "face to face visit?" This is my very first teaching interview ever by the way....for middle school social studies.

  1. Dont do it its a trick!   they have been watching you all along and they're probably watching rght now!!  Do not go to that interview, i beg you.  they know im here, black ninja, out!

  2. Yes, it's a good thing. Some school systems do the phone interviews first to decide who they want to bring in for a second round.

You might find that there are a group of teachers/administrators there for your next interview. If, for example, there's another social studies teacher there, you might be asked more specific questions about teaching social studies, so be ready for that. You may also be asked many of the same questions you were already asked by different people who also want to find out more about you.

    Good luck!
