  1. What would I do?  I'd talk to the shop, and let them know what's going on.  If you "absolutely adore" the car, you don't want to sell.

Got any rich relatives that would loan you enough to get the car out of the shop?  You'll probably need it for the job hunt that's coming.

  2. So sorry to hear that you lost your job (I just lost mine too!).

Have you seen that film "The pursuit of happyness"? if not u got to see it! if yes you know what to do!"

IN a way getting the car will give you a drive to push forward and getting a job faster then you would have without the car!

I wish you had a pic of the car!

and you in the car as well, hahaha! Can you see yourself driving it to get to your new job!

If you buy it, how long do you have to find a new job?

    How tight can/will it be?

Write it all down in a excel sheet and see carefully, how can you make it work.

    Make small plans with steps!

Some might be hard to cross, some might be easy!

It will defenitely be a great motivator!

But it can also possibly ruin you!

You need to sort out your back up suport, who will lend you money!

(You have no idea how much money I am paying to the interests of the money I have borrowed, but my situation is different, you can make it!)

#Remeber this car will motivate you, to go for a job which is even further then where you live, to look for more work when you feel like giving up and just watching tely or whatever! Not only the thought of the car, but also the fact thhat you will owe money!

You can also see it as a fact that this is not a financially sound decision and put it for sale!

When you put the add, ask them people who work there, what they think of the add! They will give you a good idea, it might even be on your advantage a brand new car from the shop.

Is this car unused? If yes great news, if not then again still great news for who bought it, just explain the story to them, they will understand and see their own comercial interest, good price for an unused car.

They will prefer to buy a car from you then from someone who has used it and abused it!

Do not waight for the tax refund! NO NO NO NO No!

I did a similar thing, just to find out that nothing is coming, and that in case it does it will come when I do not need the money!

When you ll have the cash in hand then go and spend it!

I was waiting for this check of £1000 is like $2000 i think, and then I was told that  its on the way!

So I went spending what I had hoping to see it soon.

Then nothing, an obstacle I was told from the layer (solicitor) then after a month he sad its coming now, the obstacle has been removed!

I went again in a spending sprey, knowing for sure its coming!

Last week I called frustrated again to see what happened with the cheque, and this time there is anotehr obstacle! (its been a year and a half)

and this time I dont care if it does or if doesnt!

    They are way to unreliable!

If you r not sure you can get a job soon, dont get the car!

but if you get the car, look at your spread sheet, how many days, week time you got to get the job!

and I hope it motivates you to apply for ten jobs  a day instead of 2-3 as you would have other wise!

    Good luck

PS: I just got a few interviews with some great companies, and tomorrow I got to go to work for the best store in the Whole World!

    The Harrods!

Only because I applied and applied, and learned all there was to learn and gathered all the skills!

  3. hmm... sweetie I have been in your shoes- what I did was put it up for sale. And then bought my dream care/reliable car once I had the money saved up! Good Luck- I know what your going through and it sucks ***!

  4. This is a bizarre situation. I would say you should have saved up beforehand to avoid this sort of situation but it's too late for that. Now you just need to focus on getting the car back into your own hands and going from there. Maybe you could try to take out a small loan? Or call in a favor from a friend or relative? You don't mention the extent of the bill you owe but it might be taken care of by selling some of your other things. Perhaps you could offer collateral for the car and come back when you can pay? That's risky but if you go through the simple process of notarizing a contract and arranging for a witness, you could legally insure your arrangement. These are extreme measures, of course. I don't see why you can't pay for it now if you only recently lost your job. Just ask a parent or relative to help. You'd rather owe them than a business.
