She accuses my son of stealing and you can't tell her anything she plays me siblings against each other. I find it so hard to communicate with her. It like my mom is gone and this evil strange person has taken her place.

  1. If she has Alzheimer's, then she can't help what shes doing. You would have to ignore it.

  2. It sounds like your mom might be experiencing some sort of dementia.

Take her to a doctor and tell him/her of your concerns.

It might just be an error in her medication that has her acting this way.

Get her help and don't delay.

  3. You are a saint to take her in.

This evil strange woman taking her place may have been created by the stress of having been moved and other age-related issues like dimentia.

Don't give up yet, you're doing the right thing, give it more time.

  4. you might have her checked for the beginning signs of Alzheimer's. some people with this disease accuse others when they cant remember where they place things and get so frustrated that they lash out at loved ones. there are meds out now that help slow the progression.

  5. You can love your Mother but you can't love the things she is doing. Be straight and make requests. If no agreement, mom goes.
