In the past my first born had problems with speech and had to take speech therapy. He also went to Pre-K. Does NY provide early education programs? If you have any numbers I can call that would be great. Thanks.

  1. Here are a couple of resources. Check them out.

  2. According to the organization (the Office of Family and Child Services) that regulates daycares in NY, many of the daycares in Richmond Hill have had serious violations in the past two years.

I would try a daycare in Inwood, Valley Stream, or Woodmere.

According to the NY website, the following centers have not had any SERIOUS violations against them in the last two years.

Five Towns Child Care Center Inc. (Inwood)

    516-239-4660

    Academic Munchkins (Valley Stream)

    516-256-0096

    Gan Chamesh Educational Center (Woodmere)

    516-295-9790

You can type in your zip code on the NY state website (listed below) or on http://www.childcarecentral.com to get a list

    of daycares close to you
