  1. might be a duct that sucks in air and pushes it out through the house my house has about 3

  2. Most homes have dampers installed at the beginning of each run.Usually in the basement. It is a little nut with a little handle on it. It opens and shuts each run (room). Not knowing your situation (basement, ect.) I won't go on.

if their are other rooms upstairs that have good air flow it is either a damper closed or a pipe has detatched in the wall or floor. good luck!

  3. Verdugo: What you wanna do is investigate by putting your head thru the attic and see if it came off the ac unit. you may be cooling your attic instead of your room. That's not efficient at all. LOL. anyways get some duct tape and just put it back in with some screws and a drill. I hope you have a man that can do that for you!!!!!

  4. Could be the fan motor is malfunctioning. It may be working, just not strong enough to get the air upstairs.  You would need a new fan. Or, the air duct may have shifted somewhere causing a blockage. You probably need to have a repairman to check it out. :)
