I recently purchased an older vehicle and the title is lost.?

I researched the "lost title" process for my state and it is a pain to say the least. Is there another state where titling is easier or a company that can do it for me?

You have to do it in your state.  I agree with the prior poster, if the car was clean, why wouldn't the original owner have applied for the lost title already?

first you never buy one if they dont have titile could be stolen or anyones .. and really the dmv is the only place to get one

You can get a motor vehicle defective title bond and usually the DMV will accept that.   State Farm does some but usually only for their own customers.   You can try looking in the yellow pages under Bonds.
