  1. If there are no viruses, it's probably spyware. Download Spyware Terminator. It's got antivirus integraded into it and it has real-time protection, unlike Malwarebytes or SUPERAntiSpyware, which are only limited free editions of the real thing. Spybot - S&D has real time protection, but I've used it and removed spyware...did a second scan just in case and the same spyware was STILL there. Don't waste your time on these cheap limited free edition spyware removers, download Spyware Terminator.

  2. I think the Trojan was probably removed. Norton does a good job of this. But Norton360 does not repair your Registry or clean up the leftover garbage after an infection. Try downloading and running CCleaner (both Registry and regular cleanups). I think this free software will play nice with Norton 360.

  3. i recommend you to download  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and do a full scan. it's free

  4. you should know that even the best protection program in the world does not guarantee 100% security. So if I get infected I don't waste time cleaning the virus, trojan, or whatever. Even if a program cleans it I never can be sure that it cleaned all infections. So what I do is reinstall my computer. Then I am 100% certain. To learn windows hacks visit my website. 5. To make sure you've gotten ALL remnants of the trojan (and other stuff thats probably on your machine) download this software called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. There's a paid version but you only need the freeware to get rid of the bad stuff.

    Good luck.

  6. If you are so sure that your computer is clean as in 100% sure that its clean. You may try deleting your old files, cleaning up your registry and defraging your computer. And you might wanna try cleaning your cpu. But if all else fails, backup your important files and bring it to a specialist.

  7. You might still have c**p on there that you don't know about.

I would suggest trying this: http://www.superantispyware.com

It was the only thing that managed to remove a nasty one from my parents computer. And got rid of a couple things that were regenerating themselves on mine after each time McAfee thought it got it.

Also, if you've been using the computer for a while, removing a lot of stuff you aren't using (I usually just put stuff on a disk for later use if needed) and a defrag might help.

*Note, the scan thing at the link, it make take a bit to run through on an older computer...my parent's old one took two and a half hours (mine only an hour), but it's good stuff for a freebie.
