  1. Only water them whenever they dry out.  Also make sure they're in pots that have good drainage.  The #1 cause of plants grown in containers is overwatering.  Drench the plants until the water runs out the bottom of the pot; then do not water them until the surface of the soil is completely dry.  (Though if possible, don't wait until the plant itself is starting to look wilty.)  I can't give an exact time frame ("water them once every 5 days") because the speed at which they dry out depends on humidity, temperature, how much time they spend indoors vs. out, etc.  But just water them whenever their dirt dries out only.

  2. well what i would do is water them at least 2-3 times a day.  Make sure you also water them at night becuase the sun will evaporate most of the water.  Other wise nicely job for doing it organically! Very environmental friendly.

  3. Water them in to settle the soil in around the roots and avoid air pockets, then about once a week. They really require little water and the leaves will tell you when. A pretty tough tree. I have some here in my yard in Mexico and to be honest I never water them and we rarely get rain - June thru august is our rainy season.

Water more when the fruit starts to develop though.

  4. About every two to three days but make sure you don't draw them or dessicate them! hope this is helpful!
