I recently saw a tennis match on TV. What is it?

I'm certain it's Roland Garros. It wasn't played on clay, and it was on hard court.

What was that? Was it the Masters?

french open played in hard courts?? i dont think so...

the current tours right now are in Rome(women) and Hamburg(men) which is a tier 1 and masters series event respectively... both tours are played on clay...

if you said it was in hard courts maybe it is a replay of the past tours... if it is a men's event... maybe miami or indian wells(both are masters series)

but if it is women maybe indian wells...

Sounds like the French Open. Depends what time of the year it was on.

How recent? The only tournaments that are going on right now is the Hamburg Masters, which is clay(men)

and for women, the Internazionali BNL d'Italia(Rome) which is clay(red) as well.

If you say it was a played on a hard court, it was most likely a replay of an old match, or it was not an atp/wta event

The last WTA event played on hard courts was March 26 - April 6 which was the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. There were two events which were played more recently- the Bausch & Lomb Championships and the Family Circle Cup which are played on a green clay court and look like hard courts from afar.

The last ATP event on hard courts was also the Sony Ericsson Open from March 26 - April 6
