I have recently started a small holding growing veg and now want to have some animals.

i have several questions lol

Can i mix geese and chickens?

Can i mix ducks and chickens?

How much is the average live turkey young?

When buying a cow do i need to for company?

Sheep i want to breed sheep but scared about them giving birth do they give birth lots?

I want some kind of exotic farm animal any idead?

money isnt a issue by the way so anything

dont have to answer them all thanx

  1. If you have free range for the birds then ok! mix em up.Ducks and geese need water to be healthy and the chickens need a shelter and perhaps a nest box. Ducks and geese will be fine outside.The geese of course will dominate the area and will also be the messiest. You might start with chickens, then later a few ducks. Watch their behaviour,what they eat,nest,roam,socialize,etc,then do what ever you think will make them happy. A single cow is great, but you'll need to breed her to raise a calf and continue milk production.If you want milk, you'll have to milk her twice a day every day. (a commitment you need to carefully consider) Llama's are cool exotic's.
