I recently started high school and i'm a frosh, kinda involves boys ...HELP?

I sit with my friend at lunch and she sits with a whole bunch of bboys and some bgirls when i first met her she lied and told me she was gonna be a sophmore but she was actually a junior and now all the people there are basically seniors, Juniors and very very few sophmores they are all super intimidating and i try to talk but then get choked up! She introduced me again after school and they were polite and friendly but i still cant get over some parts of it!!! And then today i found out that one of the kids that started that bboy group was a friend of the family and he is in college now but i'm still friends with him but i'm still super intimidated!

im a frosh and i chill with mad seniors.

its no big deal.

even when i was a striaght up freshman i chilled with mad seniors.

and they dont even sound like bad people they sound nice so dont get scared ya silly.

Only in school does one or two years make such a big difference! 5 or 10 years from now, it won't mean a thing. Don't be intimidated, it's always good to know a few older people, they can give you a hand when you are struggling with an assignment because they have already taken the class. You can learn how to get along with a teacher that is feared from an older student too. Most of all, you can learn by observing them and avoiding the mistakes they make.

Just talk to them, one topic all students have in common is school, so talk about the football game, Homecoming, cafeteria food... Also, most people are interested in music, talk about that.
