  1. <> I don't know if chewing them made a difference,,,maybe you just didn't drink or eat much sugar that night> Does it say ''do not crush or chew tablet'' if so than maybe they are stronger this way?

  2. As someone who was dependent on marijuana to fall asleep, i found it quite expensive. After taking ambien, omg im in love with a sleeping pill. You do become less responsive to 1 tablet after taking them regularly. Just up your dosage:) The directions also suggest taking them on an empty tummy to receive the full effects.

  3. I have a prescription for regular Ambien and Ambien CR. I use them depending upon my circumstances. The regular Ambien only lasts about 4-6 hours for me, so if I wake up at midnight I'll take that, but if it's 10 PM and I want to go to sleep, but it's not happening, then I'll take the CR type.

Chewing it is probably not dangerous, it just made it kick in quicker like a regular Ambien.

  4. Don't chew it.  If Ambien CR doesn't work as quickly as you like, then just ask your doctor for regular Ambien (zolpidem).
