I use Jukebox mainly to access songs from CDs I've purchased and put in my computer. I started with one of every song, but now I have eleven of every song and they continue to multiply?? Its like the Tribles in Star Trek. Anyone know of a solution before the tunes start overflowing onto the desk?

  1. i've had problems with that on a couple of different programs. i believe in my case at least that it was caused by the fact that i tried to direct the songs that i've ripped from cds to go into a file other than the default. then later, the program copied the files. then the file manager would update the list and there were two copied in two different files.

i've solved the problem two ways.

    1. make sure to just use the default directory and delete or move the files that are in other places.

    2. go through my library and hand pluck by "remove from library". here you have to be careful because if you click "remove from computer" it will delete both copies and the remaining track on the list will be a "broken link" (at least this is what seems to have happened in my experience)

in either case it is an annoying process.

    don't know why it happens.
