I recently went to Little italy in new york and i want to know if anyone has a recipe for that dipping sauce ?

they dip bread in this amazing oil based sauce with herbs and spices and i think maybe some balsamic vinegar. does anyone know a recipe for that?

Buy a very good quality extra virgin olive oil, and Italian herb mix, perhaps some balsamic vinegar and greated parmesean cheese.

Olive oil in a bowl...you can add what you like...just s&P, or the herbs, the grated cheese is excellent....the key is the olive oil!!

Ha,ha--do you mean olive oil, garlic and herbs?  You don't have to go to 'little Italy' to find that.  Too funny.

It's not a sauce it's just olive oil, balsamic vinegar and herbs. They sell it all over the place, especially in Italian delis or markets. Sometimes even in the regular supermarket near where the olive oil is. You can even make your own.
