I recieved my Philadelphia Police exam results passed 81.38 rank 3.489.000 when do I start, still waiting?

Hi this is J from Philadelphia I have received my results for the Philadelphia Police exam and I have gotten a 81.38 my ranking is 3,489.000 when is it that I start the training I have been waiting for the longest , How long does it take for them to responde. and also is my ranking bad? Any one welcome to

 I also took the exam. In order to hire lets say 200 cops they through about 1500-1900 applicants. Most people get disqualified along the way for background checks, Fines, Drugs, and specially the next step which is the physical test. A rank of 3489 means there are 3488 people in front of you waiting for a job. You can always hope but from past exams that they have given out I can tell you that it will be almost impossible for you to get selected.

The one way you might have a chance is if they eventually pull more people form the same list for another class. When this happens they do not go from the beginning again. Instead, they start from where they stopped because everyone before has been disqualified or went to the academy.

Sorry for being so negative but I would like someone to be real with me. Don't get discouraged. Sometimes it takes years for people to be able to score high and get a job. Just be more prepared next time. Book stores sell books teaching you what to know for these tests as well as strategies for some of the sections such as the memorization of the pictures and there information. These books are great. Some people study for months before these test in order to do the best they can. Don't be lazy. The more time you put into it the happier you will be. Its all about how important it is for you !
