I recorded a DVD in VR mode and want a way to play it on my normal DVD player. Is there a way to allow this?

I have a Sony Handycam. It won't allow me to unfinalize the mini dvd. Is there a trial program or something that will allow me to burn a regular disc?

You know, I had this same question the other day. From my research I found out that recording in DVD-VR mode results in a disc that is unable to play in most DVD players.

What I would do is get the video file off the disc somehow (probably via USB). And then encode/burn it to a disc.

I just purchased a Sony Handycam. It should come soon. I plan to experiment with this, but that's what I have found so far.
