  1. Memory disc?? Is this a minidvd or an sd card. If it's minidvd, If you have a mini dvd camcorder….

You will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (I downloaded handbrake file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.

  2. Memory disc? If this is a DVD based camcorder, your camcorder needs to have a DVD optical drive to play that DVD disc. Your computer *might* have an optical drive that plays only CDs, but since you have not told us what computer you have, we have no way to know. The door on the optical drive usually says DVD on it if it can handle DVD discs - if it is a slot loading optical drive and the discs are small 8cm discs, you should NEVER put those discs in a slot loader - you can break the drive and scratch the disc.

For watching only, you need to get an external DVD drive for your computer that is a drawer loader

For editing video, or you need to get an external DVD drive or an Analog/Digital bridge like
