  1. - You have to do it again.

    - To avoid things like these from happening again, try creating a restore point.

  2. To get your wireless back after a reformat and OS re-install, you will need to run your wireless driver setup CD. or download the adapters driver file from the manufacturers web site.  All wireless network cards depend on the Driver to work. Once that is reinstalled, you can then configure your wireless again.

  3. If you are talking about getting your wireless card to actually work, then you have to download the drivers for it.

If you are talking about reconfiguring the wireless connection as far as the router then log in to the router by keying in your default gateway and logging in.

You can get your ip address by click Start/ Run/ type in cmd in the box. when the window opens type ipconfig and then press enter. type in the numbers on the default gateway in a web browser. Log in using the routers user name and password and you can configure.

  4. After format, wireless network drivers will never get auto-assigned. Do you have the drivers CD for your wireless network? If you have, install it.
