I transferred my vehicle registration to New Jersey from PA 5 months ago. The inspection for PA was valid till end of August and I failed to remember that I have to get inspection done afresh in NJ. What do I do now?

  1. get NJ inspection  as soon as u can...doh

  2. Go to a state inspection station asap which is no charge to you. Or you can go to a private state inspection facility and have to pay there fee. Either way there's no getting around it. Here is the mvc link to locate an inspection station near you.

  3. Get it inspected or be prepared to pay a fine if you get caught driving without it. I am suirprised that NJ accepted the PA inspection anyways. Most want their State inspection, if for nothing else, the money.
